To Democrats: Suppose the man running for President had in his previous term waged war against three countries while using drones to bomb two others; lobbied congress to ensure the continuation of the Patriot act; continued to imprison people without habeas rights in Guantanamo Bay and avoiding supreme court decisions by shipping certain individuals from Guantanamo to secret foreign prisons; passed a massive new medical entitlement program; ran up record budget deficits; continued to violate state medical marijuana laws and arrest lawful medical marijuana dealers; assassinated foreigners and argued for the right to assassinate American citizens; bailed out his buddies in the financial industry; and continued to support executive privilege in almost everything, ensuring the citizens stay ignorant to the actions of the executive branch. I would bet money on it that you would vehemently despise this candidate (rightly so) and work hard to ensure he was not re-elected; but candidate described above is not George Bush (though he did every one of the things listed above), it is in fact Barack Obama. The only difference between Bush and Obama is that one has a ‘D’ next to his name and because of this you (Democrats) will likely vote for his re-election.
To Republicans: Bush and Obama are the same, and if you supported Bush you must now support Obama, if you wish to be consistent. Hopefully, however, you have come to your senses and realized the error of your ways: that Bush was as bad as Obama has been. But you must learn from this and not elect a Bush clone (i.e. Romney, Newt, Palin, Pawlenty, Cain, etc.).
It is time for Americans to stop voting for these Republicrats or the ‘R’ or ‘D’ next to a name and start voting for pro-liberty pro-constitutional candidates of which there are only two currently announced: Congressman Ron Paul and Former Governor Gary Johnson. Either one would be a step in the right direction.
