Our Treacherous Enemy!

In order to successfully get a population of human beings to hunger for waging a brutal, unprovoked war against other human souls, you must first make your enemy completely inhuman. Make them into monsters. Barbarians. They must be evil! Galvanize righteous hatred and religious zeal against them! Explain that Jesus loves those who hate the right people.

Into the mind of your own people you must pour this thunderous message over and over and over again: that the enemy is both simultaneously weak (“on the cusp of defeat”), but also on the brink of great and profound villainy. His barbarism must have no bounds! He must be savage and on the verge of annihilating you. Yet he must also be like a whipped dog, wounded, and crying on his belly.

The enemy must therefore be merciless and utterly vicious! Ready to strike without remorse, but also cowardly and deflated. And the enemy is surely developing powerful and devious weaponry! Bombs and doomsday devices and nuclear payloads which are all armed and targeting innocent people and most certainly your brave allies.

For your enemy has no mercy! No restraint. No humanity whatsoever. Remember, they are not human. They are ferral dogs to be put down. Diseased rats. They are savage monsters!

This is a divine and holy war. Good versus evil. Right vs wrong. Literal saints versus inhuman devils. Since God is on our side, the enemy surely stands alone.

This is why the enemy must be attacked first! BEFORE they have a chance to mount a brutal attack of their own. The enemy is not like you or I. The enemy stands willing and ruthless, ready to wipe Good itself off the face of the earth. You mustn’t let them do it! Our proud and mighty country stands against Evil incarnate.

It’s do or die. Us or them. Kill or be killed!

And, I fear, that wicked, conniving, and sinister enemy is fast at work… illustriously spreading pernicious and unscrupulous lies; for that selfsame enemy is busy saying the same damnable things about us!
